Salle Desjardins is also home to Cinémaboule, the region's ciné-club, which screens a film every second Thursday at 7pm. As a member of the Association des cinémas parallèles du Québec, Cinémaboule offers a range of Quebec and international films, as well as documentaries and animated features.
The Coop Place du marché doesn't just offer local produce. It's also a place for gatherings and festivities, thanks in particular to the Vendredis du marché. Every Friday at 6:30 p.m., a concert is presented, with a variety of musical styles to please everyone. It's the perfect opportunity to get together with friends, enjoy a meal at the market bistro and enjoy live music. Occasional shows are also organized on Saturdays, further enriching the program.
