"Petite Nation en fête" is four days of festivities

From August 12 to 15, 2026, Thurso will be buzzing with music

Thurso is hosting Petite Nation en fête, four days of performances, entertainment, and culinary delights in a friendly atmosphere. Over the years, the event has become a much-anticipated summer tradition, bringing together music, street food, and family-friendly activities.

A festive atmosphere for young and old alike

"Petite Nation en fête" is much more than just a series of concerts. The festival grounds offer a wide variety of activities to help you enjoy the event. Giant games, inflatable structures, and family-friendly areas create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can have a good time.

The food truck area is also a popular attraction among visitors. Here, you’ll find a variety of flavors, often inspired by local ingredients. Between shows, it’s the perfect place to share a meal.

The atmosphere truly captures the spirit of the region—warm, down-to-earth, and welcoming. Festival-goers from all over come together to enjoy it.

A musical lineup that brings people together

The 2026 edition features a diverse lineup showcasing several prominent artists from the Quebec music scene.

On Wednesday, August 12, the festivities kick off with Classe Moyenne and Roxane Bruneau, two artists who promise an energetic evening to launch the festival.

On Thursday, August 13, the stage will feature Jay Scøtt and Souldia, two prominent voices on the current music scene, each with their own unique musical style.

On Friday, August 14, it’s time for rock with France D’Amour, a leading figure in Quebec music, followed by JF Pauzé, who will perform songs from his first solo album as well as revisit some well-known hits by Les Cowboys Fringants.

Saturday, August 15 kicks off with KPop Demon Hunters – The Show, an energetic production designed for young people. In the evening, the atmosphere turns decidedly festive with Lendemain de veille and Francis Degrandpré, who will have the crowd singing and dancing under the summer sky.

A lineup that looks promising!

An experience to be enjoyed up close

For a different way to enjoy the shows, the festival also offers a VIP area near the main stage. It provides a prime view of the concerts as well as a number of perks, including fast-track access to the bar, a reserved terrace, and more comfortable seating.

This package lets you experience the shows right in the heart of the action in a more exclusive setting. Since seating is limited, tickets sell out quickly.

A must-see event this summer

Petite Nation en fête helps liven up the summer season in the region. Whether you come to see a show or simply soak up the atmosphere, the event offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate summer in Petite Nation.
