The Place du Marché Cooperative
Music and a Friendly Atmosphere in Ripon
Place du marché Coop does more than just offer local products. It’s also a place for gatherings and festivities, especially thanks to “Market Fridays.” Every Friday at 6:30 p.m., a concert is held, featuring a variety of musical styles to please everyone. It’s the perfect opportunity to get together with friends, enjoy a meal at the market bistro, and take in the live music. Occasionally, shows are also held on Saturdays, further enriching the lineup. All in all, the Ripon Market is a must-visit destination for lovers of good music and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Le Bankeur in Montebello
A program that brings culture to life
In 2026, Le Bankeur combines a microbrewery with a vibrant live music scene, featuring a lineup that will appeal to both tribute band enthusiasts and rock fans alike. From January through May, the venue will host energetic, community-building nights featuring SUBSUN, Lashout, and Discount Chicken; a tribute to Joe Dassin; the Viscérale tour celebrating BARF’s 40th anniversary; Madame Menthol; a Metallica tribute; and Les Chiens de Ruelles. In an intimate, modern, and welcoming atmosphere, visitors can enjoy a beer inspired by the Seigneurie de la Petite-Nation from the Brasseurs de Montebello and catch a show.

Ripunk
An alternative scene worth exploring
Amid the cultural buzz, Ripunk brings a decidedly alternative touch to the local scene. Led by a passionate collective, the organization showcases alternative music and emerging art in a friendly atmosphere. Through performances, poetry, and local products, Ripunk celebrates creativity, solidarity, and the independent spirit in the heart of the village of Ripon.

The Desjardins Hall in Petite-Nation
A lineup to enjoy in an intimate setting
Located in the auditorium of Louis-Joseph-Papineau High School in Papineauville, the Salle Desjardins de la Petite-Nation is a must-visit destination for experiencing culture in the Petite-Nation region. With its 357 seats, it offers a rare sense of closeness to the performers in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In 2026, Les Productions Les 2 Vallées will present a diverse lineup there, perfect for fans of comedy, music, and new discoveries. Before the show, the Bistro-Bar welcomes you to enjoy a drink and savor the moment. The venue also hosts Cinémaboule, the film club that screens a movie every other Thursday at 7 p.m.

Le St-André, in Saint-André-Avellin, unveils its 2026 lineup in collaboration with Legros Production. Expect live performances, vibrant evenings, and an atmosphere where music shines at its best. The venue stands out for its unique concept: the warm charm of a lively pub combined with the intimate atmosphere of a concert hall. It’s perfect for a night out with friends or a getaway to Petite Nation—especially since the Auberge Petite-Nation (Reg. No. 223065) is right there to extend the evening in complete comfort.

Other Places to Enjoy Music
In addition to a large venue, several small bars, cafés, and restaurants in the region regularly host concerts and shows in more intimate settings. For example, Café Bistro Léo in Thurso hosts singer-songwriter nights every Friday at 6 p.m. Bar La Baie Noire in Plaisance has a country vibe, while Bar Chez Mo in Papineauville will delight rock fans. For a more alternative atmosphere, head to the Café des orties, perfect for a laid-back evening.
As you can see, live performances are part of Petite Nation’s DNA. Comedy and music are synonymous with wonderful evenings. And luckily, we have several shows planned for 2026. Whether you’re coming as a couple, with family, or with friends, we’re sure you’ll find at least one show you’ll love!
