In Petite Nation, local farms are bursting withfall freshness. It's the perfect time to stock up on squash, fall vegetables, apples and other treasures of the earth.

Vineyards and cider mills: at the heart of the terroir
fall is the ideal season to explore the vineyards and cider houses of the Petite Nation. Six locations open their doors to you for friendly tastings, guided tours and, in some cases, the unique experience of harvesting grapes.
Among the not-to-be-missed Domaine Mont Vézeau in Ripon, with its view of Mont Vézeau, its famous Roman pizza and its brand-new sparkling wine. In Papineauville, the Domaine de l'Heure Juste cultivates the art of natural wine with passion, as does Fragments a family-run vineyard in Ripon where indigenous yeasts bring out the best in the grapes. Le Vignoble Ste-Angélique also in Papineauville, offers a wide range of wines, from reds to orange, all produced by hand.
As for ciders, the Verger Croque-Pomme in Lochaber-Partie-Ouest combines pick-your-own with tastings on a terrace on stilts, while Les Pommes Perdues in Chénéville, showcases wild apples in creations as unique as the region itself.
And if you prefer an organized outing, the company Aventure Outaouais offers turnkey packages, including transportation, tastings and meals, so you can experience the wine and cider route to the full.
