Located on Poisson Blanc Lake, the Air-Eau-Bois Outdoor Recreation Center is dedicated to promoting outdoor activities in a natural setting through training, services, and outdoor programs. A boat ramp, complete with a boarding dock, provides easy access to the water.
Two outfitters welcome hunting and fishing enthusiasts, each with its own atmosphere and specialties. The Pourvoirie de la Lièvre, on the banks of the Lièvre River, offers an enchanting setting and cottage stays. It’s a popular choice for deer and bear hunting, while also offering great fishing trips, particularly for bass, walleye, and pike. The Pourvoirie Chevreuil Blanc stands out for the size of its territory, with 27 fishing lakes and 43 km² of leased land, ideal for enjoying an environment rich in game. Here, you can fish for speckled trout, rainbow trout, and lake trout, as well as hunt deer using various methods, including bow, crossbow, black powder, or rifle.
For outdoor recreation, Parc Régional de la Forêt features a magnificent forest, five lakes, several streams and wetlands, as well as rock faces popular for climbing. Right next to City Hall, Centennial Park offers family-friendly amenities, including a tennis court and a playground with play structures. In the summer, the Farmer market adds a delightful culinary touch to your visit.
