A promising hunting season

To all hunters, we wish you an excellent 2025 season, filled with adventures and unforgettable memories. Between the hunting zones and the Réserve faunique Papineau-Labelle RFPL), the region offers plenty of opportunities to pursue your passion. And to extend your outdoor experience, consider the many outfitters in Petite Nation.

Zone 10, 2025 Hunting Seasons

Moose with antlers (10 cm or more)

Crossbow and Bow: September 20–28, October 25–29
Muzzle-loading firearm: October 25–29
Firearms: prohibited in this area

White-tailed deer with antlers (7 cm or longer)

Crossbow and Bow: October 4–17, October 18–22, November 8–23
Muzzle-loading firearm: October 18–22, November 8–23
Rifle: November 8–23
Rifle: October 18–22, November 8–23

Réserve faunique Papineau-Labelle, 2025 seasons

It is prohibited to walk in the Reserve during this period unless you have a permit issued by the RFPL

September 15–October 2: moose
October 3–9: Moose and deer combination hunt
October 27–November 15: white-tailed deer

Hiking and Hunting: Coexisting Safely

fall also the perfect season for hiking and enjoying the vibrant colors. To ensure harmonious coexistence between hikers and hunters:

Check the dates and restrictions before you go.
Wear bright colors.
Keep your pets on a leash.
⚠️ On the Route des Zingues, during the hunting season at the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve, stay only in the P1-P2 section.
