The Farmer market

A friendly get-together

Farmer market offers an equally enriching experience. Every Saturday, from June 7 to August 30, from 9 a.m. to noon, Centennial Park transforms into a bustling pop-up village, where charming little huts and inviting stalls invite you to explore.

What immediately strikes you upon arriving at Bowman Market is the warm and friendly atmosphere. Here, locals, vacationers, and tourists mingle in a relaxed setting, exchanging recipes and stories as they meet. The producers, proud of their goods, take the time to share their passion and techniques with interested visitors.

One of the unique features of Bowman Market is its commitment to creating themed areas. In particular, there is a small pavilion dedicated to products from the Outaouais region, courtesy of the Outaouais Market, where visitors can discover regional specialties. For families, the “Play Area” is a true paradise: sheltered from the elements, it offers numerous board games, as well as tables and chairs suitable for both children and adults, fostering moments of togetherness and camaraderie.

Every week, the market features a different theme, accompanied by activities and workshops. These activities, which often focus on the local region or traditions, add an educational and fun element to the visit, making the market a great family outing.
