Thrilling rodeos

The heart of the festival beats to the rhythm of its spectacular rodeos, featuring internationally renowned cowboys and cowgirls. Riding wild horses and bulls, calf roping: each competition is a display of courage, skill, and the true Western spirit.
In collaboration with Wild Time Productions, these rodeos will count toward qualification for the Canada Cup, to be held next September in Saint-Tite. More than 200 cowboys and cowgirls will thus gather in Saint-André-Avellin to deliver unforgettable performances.

Under the Desjardins Big Tops

Under the Desjardins Grand Tent, the Festival western Saint-André-Avellin lineup features a series of exceptional performances from July 16 to 26, blending country stars with vibrant tributes. Highlights include David Pineau’s tribute to Bob Bissonnette on July 16, 2 Frères with Philippe Tremblay on the 17th, the Quebec Redneck Bluegrass Project on the 18th, Kaïn on their farewell tour on July 19, Marc Dupré on the 20th, Kevin Parent on the 21st, Breen Leboeuf on the 22nd, Le Country de nos idoles with Maxime Landry, Annie Blanchard, Guylaine Tanguay, and Paul Daraîche on the 23rd, David Corriveau on the 24th, and the Beatle Story Band Orchestra on July 25. These evenings promise an electric atmosphere!

Under the Saloon tent, the country atmosphere will be just as electric, with a non-stop lineup of local artists led by Jasmin Bessette, line dancing led by Suzanne Carrier and Cowboy Barbu Line Dance MAB, as well as festive evenings that continue long after the rodeos, featuring talents such as Daniel Dan, David Bernatchez, and Dwight Leroux.

Activities and entertainment for everyone

The festival offers a wide range of activities designed for the whole family. Children will have a blast at the Family Zone, open on the weekends of July 17–19 and July 24–26, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The program includes face painting, inflatable games, a petting zoo, pony rides, a “Firefighter for a Day” activity on July 18 at 11 a.m., as well as a performance by Ari Cui Cui and fun games on July 19 at 1 p.m.

From July 16 to 19, around 15 rides and skill games promise fun for everyone, with free admission to the site.
