The Festival western Saint-André-Avellin returns from July 17 to 27, 2025 for another colorful edition, proudly celebrating western culture. A true summer rendezvous, this event attracts thousands of visitors every year thanks to a vibrant program combining strong emotions, varied shows and cultural discoveries. Since its inception, the festival has become a fixture on the regional calendar, showcasing the authenticity and passion of the Western world.

Whether you're a rodeo enthusiast, a music lover or simply curious about a unique experience, this 2025 edition promises to be a memorable one.

Thrilling rodeos

The heart of the festival beats to the rhythm of its spectacular rodeos, featuring internationally renowned cowboys and cowgirls. Riding wild horses and bulls, lassoing calves: each competition is a demonstration of courage, skill and Western spirit.
In collaboration with Wild Time Productions, these rodeos will count towards qualification for the Canada Cup to be held next September in Saint-Tite. More than 200 cowboys and cowgirls will parade through Saint-André-Avellin to offer unforgettable performances.

Under the Desjardins marquees

Under the Desjardins Big Top, comedy, country and great voices: get ready for a whirlwind of emotions with this exceptional line-up! We kick off with the long-awaited Salebarbes show. Brigitte Boisjoli brings Elvis rockabilly back to life with "Bring Back '68", preceded by La Famille Painchaud. Francis Degrandpré and the Blue Ridge Band will be followed by the legendary B.B. songs of Ludovick Bourgeois. Michel Barrette, preceded by Évelyne Roy-Molgat, will spark laughter, while Dan Bigras will pay a vibrant tribute to his friend and mentor Gerry Boulet in the show Cette Voix. Les Leblanc, Isabelle Boulay, the Disco Fever Experience and the exuberant Famille Denuy round out this rich musical program!

The Saloon Desjardins tent will be just as lively, with continuous country singers, line dancing and post-rodeo shows featuring Doug St-Louis and Ghys Mongeon.

Activities and entertainment for all

The festival also offers a host of activities for the whole family. Younger guests can enjoy the Place de la Famille, where festive face painting, inflatable games, a mini-farm, pony rides ($), the "Firefighter for a Day" activity, the interactive show La magie de la chimie - Tome 2, and many other surprises await them!

From July 17 to 20, some fifteen rides and several games of skill will add thrills and fun for young and old alike.
