Oniro at Parc Omega
A poetic walk in the heart of nature
Imagine an hour-long walk under the trees, to the rhythm of light projections, original music and the voices of storytellers. In this enchanting setting, the audience follows the story of Oniro, a young wolf separated from his pack by a forest fire. Lost, he makes his way through the night and encounters unusual people who will lead him to resilience and self-discovery.
The kilometre-long route is divided into 17 carefully orchestrated tableaux. Each reveals a facet of the dream, sometimes mysterious, sometimes luminous, often moving. The narration, carried by familiar voices such as Guylaine Tremblay, Vincent-Guillaume Otis, Mylène Mackay, Raymond Cloutier and Vincent Leclerc, brings this universal animal tale to life.
A grandiose, unifying work
Oniro is the fruit of an exceptional collaboration. More than 50 Quebec artists and craftspeople contributed their talents to this $5.8 million work of art. Its ambition is as much artistic as it is touristic: to create a suspended moment where young and old can reconnect with nature, imagination and the invisible links that unite all forms of life.
As Michel Lemieux himself puts it:
"Since the dawn of time, we humans have been dreaming every night. What a surprise to learn that animals dream too. The inspiration for this creation comes from the desire to explore what unites us with animals, while inspiring wonder and humility in the face of nature."
Oniro is much more than a simple nocturnal stroll. It's a sensitive and artistic meditation, an ode to the mysteries of life and the power of dreams.
A new dimension for Parc Omega
Already renowned for its educational mission, free-roaming animals and unusual accommodations, Parc Oméga's Oniro adds an immersive cultural offering aimed at all audiences.
Practical information and new opening hours:
- Opening hours until December 13, 2025: every Friday and Saturday, from dusk onwards
- Schedule from December 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026: Friday to Tuesday, from dusk onwards
- Running time: approx. 60 minutes
- Outdoors: rain or shine, and accessible all year round
This new feature is designed to attract an additional 50,000 visitors a year, consolidating Parc Oméga as one of the Outaouais' major tourist attractions. Easily accessible - just 90 minutes from Montreal and 45 minutes from Gatineau - it becomes a destination of choice for families, immersive art lovers and tourists in search of new experiences.
An echoing walk
The project partners emphasize that Oniro is a collective adventure. For H2Émotion, it's an emotional work to tell, a story that combines creativity and know-how. For co-author Denis Morin, it's the trees themselves that tell the story, in a forest where everything is interconnected. Parc Oméga's Executive General Manager, Benjamin Vallée, speaks of magic and enchantment, values that harmonize perfectly with the park's universe.
Oniro answers a simple but powerful question: if animals dreamed, what would they tell us? The answer, conveyed by this nocturnal experience, is at once sensory, poetic and universal.
Extend the magic
After walking in Oniro's footsteps, why not extend your stay? Parc Omega offers several accommodations panoramic chalets, pods, ready-to-camp and glazed lodges near the wolves, so you can sleep to the rhythm of the forest. On-site restaurant OmegaBon welcomes you with tasty dishes concocted from local ingredients.

ONIRO is an invitation to dream with your eyes wide open.
We send you on a journey... into the world of a young wolf, at the heart of a living tale.
