Join us on the roads of Petite Nation this summer
In Petite Nation,
This summer promises to be full of new experiences and encounters
This summer, two mobile tourism information officers will hit the road to meet the people who bring our region to life. Their mission: to help you discover iconic sites, hidden gems, and must-see events through original content shared on Tourisme Petite Nation social media channels.
Over the coming weeks, Thomas and Létycia will be sharing videos, interviews, suggestions for outings, and inspiring profiles. Their goal is twofold: to highlight the treasures of our region and to give a voice to the local people who are passionately shaping the region’s identity.
Thomas, 25, is from Saint-André-Avellin. He is currently completing his master’s degree in history at UQÀM. His thesis focuses on the Petite-Nation region between 1960 and 1983, with a particular emphasis on the effects of the Quiet Revolution in rural areas. Curious and meticulous, he aims to share the region’s rich history, heritage, and culture while creating engaging and accessible content.
Létycia, also a native of Saint-André-Avellin who now lives in Chénéville, is bursting with energy. After a year studying retail management, she is preparing to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. Passionate about communication, she already shares her daily life on TikTok and has helped promote several events for the municipality of Chénéville. Her knowledge of the area and her enthusiasm make her a valuable ally in providing visitors with helpful advice.
Whether you’re a tourist or a local, follow along all summer long. You’ll discover places to explore, heartwarming stories, and maybe even spots you didn’t know existed. In Petite Nation, every detour is an opportunity to be amazed.
