Follow us on the roads of Petite Nation this summer
In Petite Nation,
Summer promises to be full of discoveries and encounters.
Two mobile tourist information officers will hit the road this summer to meet the people who bring our region to life. Their mission: to help you discover iconic places, hidden gems, and must-see events through original content posted on Tourisme Petite Nation social media accounts.
Over the coming weeks, Thomas and Létycia will be bringing you videos, interviews, suggestions for outings, and inspiring profiles. Their goal is twofold: to highlight the riches of our region and to give a voice to the local players who are passionately building the region's identity.
Thomas, 25, is originally from Saint-André-Avellin. He is currently completing his master's degree in history at UQÀM. His thesis focuses on the Petite-Nation region between 1960 and 1983, with a particular focus on the effects of the Quiet Revolution in rural areas. Curious and rigorous, he wants to convey the historical, heritage, and cultural richness of the region while creating lively and accessible content.
Létycia, also a native of Saint-André-Avellin and now living in Chénéville, is bursting with energy. After a year in business management, she is preparing to undertake a bachelor's degree in business administration, specializing in marketing. Passionate about communication, she already shares her daily life on TikTok and has helped promote several events for the municipality of Chénéville. Her knowledge of the area and her enthusiasm make her a valuable ally in providing visitors with helpful advice.
Whether you're a tourist or a resident, follow them all summer long. You'll discover places to explore, touching stories, and maybe even corners you didn't know about yet. In Petite Nation, every detour is an opportunity to marvel.
