Petite Nation wine and cider route

This summer, join Aventure Outaouais for a day full of unique discoveries as we explore local family vineyards and a cider mill. Participants will have the opportunity to taste at least 15 wines and ciders, while meeting the passionate people who create these exceptional products and getting up close and personal with the terroir.

In addition to these tastings, Brylee Farm will prepare a succulent meal for you, making this a must-do summer experience. With your expert guide at the wheel, here are the steps of the wine and cider tour:

• Verger Croque Pomme: Present in the Outaouais since 1994, Croque Pomme is a veritable institution. Visitors can sample a variety of ciders, spirits, jams and other artisanal products.
• Domaine Mont-Vézeau: Renowned for its award-winning wines, this vineyard offers a unique range of wines, including the famous strawberry wine. Guests will enjoy at least 7 wine tastings, accompanied by snacks such as the owners' homemade pizza.
• Domaine de l'Heure Juste: This small, family-run winery offers tastings of 3 wines and an insight into the challenges of running a winery. Visitors can also taste their surprising orange wine.
• Brylee Farm: This fifth-generation farm provides top-quality grass-fed meat. Participants will enjoy a delicious pulled beef sandwich with homemade whiskey barbecue sauce, caramelized onions and cheddar cheese from Fromagerie de Montebello (vegetarian option available). A side salad, homemade dessert, and homemade iced tea and lemonade will also be served.

This adventure is offered every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from early June to late September, from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, by bus with groups of up to 14 people.

Country-style tables Croquez l'Outaouais

This summer, Aventure Outaouais is offering a new way to discover local produce, with country table evenings. These events give you the opportunity to meet local farmers and appreciate the quality of their products. In Petite Nation, discover Ferme Brylee in Thurso, and get ready for a festive evening of incredible food.

Start the evening with a private tour of the farm, where you'll discover the stories and motivations of this family. Afterwards, enjoy a meal prepared with products straight from the farm.

Ferme Brylee Farm is unique in Quebec, having been a grass-fed beef farm for five generations. It uses sustainable practices and takes care of its animals well-being .

This excursion is offered every other Thursday evening, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, from early June to mid-October.

Aventure Outaouais is an official ambassador of Croquez l'Outaouais, whose mission is to promote local products and support local businesses.

Both tours include transportation, the services of an expert guide, wine and cider tastings or a full meal, and plenty of opportunities to buy local produce direct from producers. Pick-up is available up to 45 minutes before the start of the tour, with several pick-up location options available at the time of booking. Tours run regardless of weather conditions, with umbrellas provided in case of rain. Tours are offered in both official languages, ensuring an enriching experience for all.
