Each year at the beginning of August, Montpellier welcomes some one hundred craftspeople for Festiv’Arts. The village’s main street, rue Principale, is thoroughly transformed to accommodate the many original creations on display.
In September, car racers occupy the village in anticipation of the Rallye Défi. Cars travel through the town’s street at high speed to the delight of spectators.
Visitors are always welcome to enjoy the wood heated pavilion at Lac Croche. The lake is stocked for the enjoyment of fishing enthusiasts. It is the perfect destination for hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snow sliding. Nature buffs may also enjoy Lac Mulet.
The Montpellier- Lac-Simon Golf Club is one of the town’s flagship companies. In addition to enjoying a round of golf, patrons can savour a meal or a snack on a terrace offering an impressive view of Lac Simon.
