A new summer at Parc national de Plaisance
New accommodations
An ingenious cross between a chalet and a tent, the Étoile ready-to-camp makes its debut at Parc national de Plaisance. 10 units located in the Rives sector - overlooking Baie de la Pentecôte - will be available for trial from June 2024. Accommodating 6 people, they are a revisited version of the traditional prêt-à-camper, where comfort and spaciousness are guaranteed for family and friends.
Birdwatching festivities on the agenda
This 28 km2 protected area is undoubtedly one of Quebec's birdwatching hotspots. Over 100 species can be seen or heard in a single day during the migratory period. So, to put the spotlight on the diversity of this winged fauna, we're inviting curious young and old to birdwatching workshops on May 24 and 25. In collaboration with the Club des
ornithologues de l'Outaouais and Les Amis du parc, ornithological blitz, hikes guided by experienced ornithologists, lectures and a bird-singing workshop with opera singer Frédérique Drolet.
