Immerse yourself in the heart of Mulgrave-et-Derry ’s nature and lakes.
Mulgrave is famous for its snowmobile trails. The local snowmobile club—Club Les Voyageurs des Collines et Ravins—is responsible for the maintenance of 155 km of trails to the northeast of Buckingham, separating Vallée-de-la-Lièvre and the Petite-Nation valley. This club is known for its large relay north of Lac La Blanche where snowmobilers can fill up on fuel and food.
The small community distinguishes itself through its very active historical society: the Mulgrave-and-Derry Historical Society. Members will be pleased to welcome you by appointment in Saint-Mathew Lutheran Church’s rectory. You may browse exhibits recalling the history of the community and enjoy a remarkably interesting collection of related photos and books.
Another historical landmark was restored in 2011–2012. Our Lady of Light Catholic church was converted into Notre-Dame-de-la-Lumière cultural centre. Each year it serves as a venue for several cultural activities.
