Autumn in the Petite Nation is synonymous with events, gourmet delights and hiking.
Several shows are scheduled at Salle Desjardins in Papi- neauville. These include Mathieu Pepper, Domi- nic Paquet, Marthe Laverdière, Christian-Marc Gendron, Fabien Cloutier and others. The Coopérative Place du Marché and Pub St-An- dré also present a variety of artists, including Black-out tribute to Scorpions and Reborn Hommage à CCR et le Diable à 5.
Numerous festivals are also coming up, including the Festival médiéval de Montpellier (September 23 to 25), the Bike- fest des Montagnes Noires (September 23) and the Festival de vélo de montagne de Montebello (September 22 and 23).
As well as taking part in fencing tournaments and showing off your mountain-biking skills, you can sample apples from a variety of orchards, taste wines from Domaine Mont-Vézeau or Vignoble Ste-Angélique, enjoy beers from Brasseurs de Montebello and pick your own pumpkin at Ferme St-Houblon and Verger Croque-Pomme, and enjoy a sweet treat at Chocomotive.
