Festival western Saint-André-Avellin

The Saint-André-Avellin Western Festival celebrates cowboy culture in style with 11 days of spectacular rodeos, major musical performances, and activities for the whole family. Nearly 200 cowboys and cowgirls will compete for the Canada Cup, while artists such as David Pineau and Kaïn will entertain the crowds in the evenings. With rides, a petting zoo, and line dancing, the atmosphere promises to be electrifying and community-building.
Twist Fiber Festival

Canada’s largest gathering of textile arts! The Twist Fiber Festival is a must-attend event for enthusiasts of wool, cotton, linen, and textile arts. For the 2026 edition, the program features more than 22 high-quality lectures, workshops, and performances. Under the theme “You Can’t Negotiate with Nature,” the festival offers a vital reflection on our relationship with living things, health, and the laws of nature. The various activities highlight the deep connections between humans and ecosystems, as well as the health of the body, emotions, and mind. An invitation to come together around well-being, to recognize our interdependence with living things, and to discover concrete ways to move toward a more sustainable and harmonious future.

The 2026 edition of the festival features an impressive lineup of artists who are sure to set the stage ablaze and delight music lovers of all tastes.
