Trail map
Set out to explore the Route des Zingues, an exceptional trail in Petite Nation that winds its way through lakes, mountain peaks, and ancient forests. Designated a National Trail since 2011, this immersive route connects the southern shore of Lake Gagnon to Lake Marie-Lefranc, with extensions currently underway all the way to the Laurentians!
Each section holds its own treasures: panoramic views, lookout points, secluded beaches, intriguing rock formations, and even a cable raft to cross the Preston River! Whether you hike up Mount Kajakokanak, the Trou-Malin Pass, Sisyphus Rock, or the Lynn Trail, you’re sure to be amazed.
The trail was entirely developed by passionate volunteers, with a focus on respecting nature. Several loops allow you to customize your hike, whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or a more active adventure. Map in hand and boots on your feet, we’re sending you off on a hike… along the Route des Zingues!
*In winter, the trail is accessible on snowshoes
