In Lac-des-Plages, Parc récréatif de la Maskinongé invites you to unplug and enjoy the forest during an active outing in Petite Nation. With nearly 20 kilometres of trails, it is the perfect playground for exploring at your own pace, whether you prefer a leisurely walk or a more challenging adventure. The trailhead is located on rue de l’Église, near the cemetery, an easy landmark to begin your day on the right foot.
From spring through fall, visitors come to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, admire the changing colours, and explore the trails on foot or by mountain bike. When winter arrives, the park remains just as lively, with trails suited for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking in a wonderfully scenic setting.
Dogs are welcome, and admission is free, making it a great choice for a spontaneous outing, whether you are travelling solo, with family or with friends. The right direction is to get lost, and this park is the perfect place to do just that.
