The town of Duhamel is a true adventure destination where history and nature come together. Known for its national trails— La Route des Zingues and the Iroquois National Trail—it invites you to immerse yourself in a fascinating natural and cultural heritage. As you hike these trails, you’ll discover breathtaking landscapes while exploring the stories that have shaped the region.
In the center of the village, discover the “Au Fil de l’eau” interpretive trail, a unique route that highlights local history and the surrounding wildlife. There you’ll find site-specific artworks under the theme “Peuples des bois,” as well as interpretive panels detailing the village’s history and the iconic presence of deer. In winter, Duhamel becomes a prime spot for wildlife viewing, as these deer take over the town, nestled in the heart of a major deer habitat.

Discover Agricola Farm!
From May through October, the Agricola cooperative farm welcomes you for an immersive experience at its organic produce stand and among its fertile fields. Enjoy a free, self-guided tour of this socially conscious farm, where you can see where and how your vegetables are grown.
An ideal family activity that lets you explore the world of organic farming while learning about different crops through informational signs scattered throughout the site. It’s a wonderful opportunity to gain a better understanding of the sustainable practices that feed the community, all while enjoying a peaceful natural setting.
Heritage Walk in Saint-André-Avellin
With its rich heritage and beautiful surroundings, Saint-André-Avellin is full of places to explore. Take the time to wander through these historic sites and let yourself be swept away by their unique charm.

Papineauville: A Living Heritage
Papineauville invites you to discover an enchanting resort town steeped in history. In an atmosphere of peace and pride, the municipality invites you to experience its history firsthand—a history closely tied to one of Quebec’s most illustrious families, the Papineaus. Its heritage tour will allow you to explore this rich legacy through the village’s most significant sites.
History also intertwines with artistic creation in Papineauville. In the summer of 2023, the municipality hosted the Site-Specific Art Symposium, under the theme “Imagine, Sow, Harvest.” Since then, seven works of art have enriched the village’s artistic heritage and blend harmoniously into its landscape. These works are installed in front of Sainte-Angélique Church, in Moulin-Seigneurial Park, in Henri-Bourassa Park, and on Place Bonhomme, inviting residents and visitors to take a cultural stroll through the streets and public spaces.
Lac-Simon: A Journey Through History and Nature
The town of Lac-Simon invites visitors to delve into its fascinating history through interpretive panels installed at the marina, revealing the secrets of Lake Simon and its heritage.
For those who love adventure and exploration, a trip along the Canard Blanc Island Historical Interpretation Trail is a must. This immersive trail, dotted with informational signs, traces the local history while offering a special connection with nature. In summer, docks on the east and west slopes provide easy access for visitors. From there, a trail leads to Lac des Étoiles, where an inviting rest area lets you fully enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Montebello: A Journey Through Time
The Montebello Heritage Trailinvites you on a journey back in time, where the history of this iconic village remains alive. Through 25 houses and buildings of remarkable historical significance, you’ll discover the traces left by those who shaped the village of Montebello. Information stands are located in front of each site, offering an insightful look into its past.
Various themes will guide you along the way, highlighting the key events, influential figures, and areas of interest that have helped make Montebello a proud and vibrant community.

The Hare Trail in Val-des-Bois
Treat yourself to a stroll through a beautiful pine forest along the Lièvre River, on a trail suitable for beginners. With routes ranging from 1 to 4 km, this nature getaway invites you to explore and reflect. Along the way, let yourself be surprised by eight works of art created in 2019 by professional artists, inspired by the theme “The Energy of the Lièvre.” An experience combining the outdoors and culture, ideal for a rejuvenating and inspiring walk!
