The seven works are well established in the heart of the village in front of Sainte-Angélique Church and in Moulin-Seigneurial Park, where you can admire:Ce que l’on sème(What We Sow) by Laurence Petit,Semence(Seed) by Jonathan Bouchard (Jobi), andLa dame aux oiseaux(The Lady with the Birds) by Martine-Carole Gagnon. In Henri-Bourassa Park: LaSpirale matic by Michael Kinghorn;J’ai la tête en gigueby Denis Charrette; andSemer, s’aimer, an anamorphic sculpture by Éric Lapointe. Finally, in Place Bonhomme: LesConfettis de joie by Hélène Béland-Robert. The seven new public artworks bequeathed to the municipality of Papineauville now enrich the public art trail that the Centre d’action culturelle en Petite Nation has been developing since 2013, thanks to the collaboration of the host municipalities, the generosity of the artists, and the support of the Papineau RCM, among others. Art and artists enrich our living environments and contribute to the attractiveness of our region. The Centre is proud to make art accessible in rural areas and to promote the work of professional artists from the region and Quebec.
