A Historic Golf Experience
Secluded and peaceful, the golf course at Fairmont Le Château Montebello blends elegantly with the natural slopes and valleys that shape the landscape. Its ingenious design was created by renowned architect Stanley Thompson, celebrated for many of Canada’s most iconic golf courses. Nestled in the heart of a mature forest, the course is dressed in spectacular autumn colors, red, gold and orange, creating a breathtaking backdrop for every round. This 18-hole, par-70 course was inaugurated in 1929 as the centerpiece of the prestigious private Seigniory Club.
The historic charm continues at the clubhouse, located in the former Seigniory Club lodge. Visitors will find everything needed to enhance their experience, including a casual dining option, locker rooms with showers, and a space that can host private events. The pro shop offers a carefully selected range of golf apparel and equipment, along with club and shoe rentals and a few souvenirs to take home.
Before or after a round, the practice range provides the perfect place to refine your swing, while the terrace overlooking the 18th hole invites you to relax and enjoy the view of the course. A refined and timeless golf experience set in an exceptional natural environment.
