This 19.5 km section of the National Trail starts off in the municipality of Val-des-Bois and lead to Écho Lake, located inside the boundaries of the Réserve faunique de Papineau-Labelle. After hiking 1 km on Lac-de-l’Aqueduc road, you will enter the forest. Two vantage points are available to view the countryside around Val-des-Bois. Continuing along the trail you will circumvent des Feuilles Lake, hidden between the hills. Further on, you will pass Delphis Lake, while following a logging road. You will then walk down to Blanchard Road before entering the Réserve. Once you have passed the Blanchard Refuge, you will work around a few ponds climb up a small hill, cross the outlet of Colmont Lake and finally reach Écho Lake.
