Description
Club SKIRA offers more than 40 km of trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking. These trails are located around the Gagnon Registration Centre of the Réserve faunique Papineau-Labelle, 16 km north of the village of Duhamel.
Volunteers look after reconnoitring, opening up and maintaining the trails (more than 40 km of moderate difficulty), as well as signage and mapping. The trails are open to all and may be combined to offer several circuits. Persons or families who plan more than one visit are invited to become members and participate in the annual fall bee.
The annual membership fee is $15 per person. It gives access to the trails and helps with expenses.
