Description
Plaisance, is a name conjuring up the gentleness of scenery doted with bays, ponds and marshes. In spring, Plaisance offers the seizing spectacle of thousands of Canada geese. Come summer, it is a paradise for ducks, herons, ospreys and dozens of other species. It conveys the gentle breeze from the Outaouais River sending waves in the grasses of the Petite Presqu'île, near the camping. The Parc national de Plaisance offers more than forty kilometres of biking trails, more than 6 kilometres of trails exclusively reserved for walking, more than 150 camping sites, 3 yurts and 33 ready-to-camp tents.
