Heritage and Plaisance Falls
Description
The most impressive falls in the area with a 63-metre elevation. On this recreational and tourism site, you will find a historical pavilion recalling the saga of the first industrial village within the territory (North Nation Mills), now disappeared. A walking trail leads from the top to the bottom of the falls, and you may enjoy the lookout, rest areas, and picnic tables. The historical pavilion is staffed by our caretaker, a seasoned storyteller and interpreter of the old village history. The enchanting venue lends itself admirably to meetings and special events (weddings, photo shoots, etc.), by reservation.
