La Villa du Rocher
Activities
Description
Dubbed “The Cathedral” by the locals, the Villa du Rocher is inspired by a Colombian hacienda. It stems from the dream of M. Trudel, who single-handedly built it, with the help of his family.
At the time, the Lac Gagnon Est Road was not yet built. All transportation was by boat. Apparently, two boats filled with sand still lie at the bottom of the lake.
An architectural feat in itself, the Villa has five fireplaces and five balconies with a resting area with a unique view, not to mention a superb south facing stone terrace. Built on a rocky cape, the Villa offers a 280° view on beautiful Lac Gagnon. Guests have use of a spacious parking, a small beach and a private bay.
More than a simple rental, a stay at the Villa is a unique experience giving you the impression of having left the country during your vacation.
The Villa offers three bedrooms for two, two bathrooms and one washroom. Living room also has two sofa beds. The house is fully equipped and you only need to supply drinking water and food!
For your enjoyment:
four kayaks (two adult and two children size);
one canoe;

numerous board games;
puzzles and books;
