Investments at the Chutes du Moulin site
Plaisance, May 9, 2025 -The Chutes du Moulin site, managed by the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq), will be closed from May 12 to June 27, 2025. The purpose of this closure is to undertake work on a brand-new lookout. During this period, access to the site by land or water will be forbidden to the public.
This historic site, the cradle of the Petite-Nation's industrial era, is reserved for the future expansion of Parc national de Plaisance. Management and operation of the site was entrusted to Sépaq by the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP) in May 2024.
Visitors to the site can expect to be welcomed back on June 21, 2025. Access to the Chutes du Moulin site is included for all holders of a valid daily or annual access permit for Plaisance National Park. Other visitors can obtain an admission ticket specifically for Chutes du Moulin at a cost of $9.00 per adult. Access to the site is free for all children aged 17 and under.
Parc national de Plaisance, like the other national parks in Quebec, offers a real opportunity to connect with nature while enjoying unique experiences that are sure to turn into wonderful memories. Many discoveries not to be missed!
