Historical interpretation tour of Canard Blanc Island

The municipality of Lac-Simon is responsible for managing the perpetual conservation of natural habitats on Canard-Blanc Island public lands.

In summer, docks installed for visitors on the eastern and western slopes of the island allow access to a path running to lac des Étoiles where a rest area has been provided. The path is part of a circuit marked with historical interpretation panels.

New panels have been installed in front of 849 chemin du Tour-du-Lac. These panels installed at the municipal marina provide better knowledge of Lac Simon’s history.
