Nestled in a little valley in Boileau, Ferme de l’Aube’s gardens are tended according to the principles of organic and vegan agriculture. We grow a selection of more than 70 varieties of vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers on approximately one acre of land.
What is organic and vegan agriculture?
Organic and vegan agriculture relies on avoiding all chemical additives (pesticides, herbicides…) as well as animal products or by-products (manures, blood and bone meal, shrimp and fish meal…). We enhance soil health through cultural methods such as green manures, crop rotations, vegetable mulches, plant-based fertilization (such as nettle and comfrey) and companion planting.
